Summary

I see myself as a hardworking dedicated person who has always had a passion for working with young children. I am a mother to two young children of my own, a boy aged 7 and a girl aged 5. I also have two older step children (17 & 14). I have a great deal of experience in various different environments and settings and have worked with a wide range of children from all different backgrounds and experiences. I have a Level 4 Foundation Degree in Early Years which I studied extremely hard for and am very proud of my achievement. I also obtained a Level 2 and Level 3 qualification during my time at college and through work placements. I also have certificates for short courses I have attended or studied personally online to gain further knowledge and understanding that I feel helps me to excel in any role working with and alongside children. My most recent job role was a Pre-school Manager within a small CIC setting. I was there for nearly two years and learnt a great deal in how to successfully manage and oversee a setting and ensure it was managed appropriately. I have various hobbies outside of working, these include spending time with my family, reading and various craft activities. I feel I am a reliable, honest and kind person who works exceptionally well with others. I am great in high stress situations, always trying to find appropriate solutions.
