Summary

I am a dedicated mental health nurse, I love working with women and supporting the patients that require it most. I enjoy working in chaotic, challenging environments with dedicated staff and I have good leadership. I have worked on many different acute wards in my own trust, on bank and substantive, however, I want to branch out and challenge myself to new environments and ways of working.

I am very flexible in when I can work, I drive and want to gain some new experience as a nurse. I have been in some challenging situations as a nurse, but I have always made sure that the care myself and my team on shift are providing is holistic, dignified, respectful. I am good at leading a team, taking the main role, supporting the staff as well as the patients, I am a dedicated team player and I am a hands on nurse and I will support the ward environment wherever possible to support staff and the patients.

I have previously worked as a bank HCA all over my trust, this provided me with genuine and basic communication skills, problem solving, communicating to patients in different ways to support them and to feel empathy throughout all of my work. I have also worked as a nurse on a rehabilitation unit, both men and women and this provided me with the experience of supporting patients back into the community, building their confidence back up, supporting them long term. I am currently an acute care nurse and I love working in the acute care sector, I am very passionate, very ambitious and I want to make a difference.
