As part of my gap year, I worked in a busy cocktail bar where I supervised daily operations, prepped the bar, trained staff, and managed food service. I supported promotional events and product launches, driving sales growth and increasing product visibility. Responsibilities included procurement and inventory management to ensure stock availability, as well as developing new beverage offerings tailored to customer preferences. I also contributed to marketing by creating social media content and promotional materials.

During my gap year in Australia, I alternated between leading outdoor education programs and supporting camp operations in the kitchen. Assisted with food preparation, service, and porter duties for groups of 60+, ensuring smooth and efficient mealtimes.

Worked for six weeks in Finland at Santa’s Grotto, managing day trips for guests. Greeted and escorted guests from the airport, coordinated their activities and meals, and ensured timely return for evening flights. Developed strong customer service, time management, and logistical coordination skills while delivering seamless and enjoyable experiences for all visitors.

Alongside my university studies, I supported short-staffed nurseries across South West London, supervising, teaching, playing with, and safeguarding children aged 3 months to 4 years.
