Summary

I have always loved Apple products and have enjoyed purchasing them in person, as well as interacting with and learning from Apple staff members about all the various features. Every time I visit an Apple store, I learn something new, and this excites me! I aim to deliver to my future customers the same exciting and enjoyable experience I have had. Having been diagnosed with dyslexia at University, I find Apple products to be perfect in their simplicity. Their interface and intuitive features have helped me through my various undergraduate and postgraduate exams throughout my career and made learning fun! I want to share this experience with others and let them know about the features I didn't know about, but I ended up loving. My background in Healthcare gives me a unique perspective that complements the team. I am a highly motivated and curious individual with a background as a doctor for the last 13 years.I have worked in various fields of medicine, including Psychiatry, Transgender medicine and General practice. I also served as our union lead during the junior doctors' strikes in 2015. I strengthened my leadership and problem-solving skills through my interactions with hospital management. Alongside the senior clinical hospital staff, I helped coordinate rotas to ensure the safe delivery of patient care, requiring the use of my organisational skills. Throughout my career, I have focused on person-centred care and treating my patients holistically with their psychological, educational, physical, socio-economic and cultural factors in mind. I have worked in fast-paced environments, working long night shifts and leading cardiac arrest calls during my time working in Accident and Emergency. I had to manage multiple issues and clinical cases simultaneously, and I'm well-versed in maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information. I have also had to communicate in stressful situations, and I have employed skills such as active listening, empathy and compassion. I was recognised for my thoroughness and sensitivity in patient surveys when discussing end-of-life decisions with relatives and families. These qualities have been invaluable to building trust and rapport in difficult circumstances. I am keen to keep up to date with the advances in medicine and maintain an active role in educating both undergraduate and postgraduate students. I keep up to date with various local and national guidelines by reading journals, attending courses and having discussions with colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team. Knowledge is for sharing, and I hope to progress in an Apple career where I can be actively involved in teaching and managing junior staff members. I am passionate about the future of technologies and the role they have in health and wellbeing. Apple is far ahead of many companies in this field, and I want to be part of a team that is progressive and creative. I am passionate about using lifestyle medicine and technology to empower individuals to take control of their health. Over the years, I have attended various technology conferences such as HETT (Healthcare Excellence Through Technology) and participated in the Mobile World Congress in 2017 in a team of 6 people from India, showcasing the app Boom (music player and equaliser). I spoke with various customers about our app and explored opportunities to promote it to potential investors. Having a multicultural upbringing, I attended numerous schools as a child in multiple countries, which has taught me to enjoy adapting to new environments, meeting new people, and engaging with new cultures and technologies. My experience with people from all backgrounds and walks of life makes my approach to customers a personable, compassionate and pleasurable experience.
