- To become a sports RCT I had to overcome an intense interview and application phase like this to become 1 of 4 of the Rhondda Cynon Taffs Golden Ambassador.
- This built my teamwork skills as I had to work with 3 others as we had to pitch to Sport RCT governors an idea to get everyone in our school active to provide us with funding to do the activity.
- By cooperating as a team we delivered a successful pitch and got the full £500 of funding.
- This also built my leadership skills as it involved showing and teaching children from the age of 11 up how to do the activities and made me more confident in this area of work.
- This also built up my customer care skills as by them being young I had to be very patient with them and also listen to feedback as to what they would like in future to make the activities more engaging and enjoyable to them.
- Through all this hard work and volunteering I was awarded volunteer of the week for the entirety of Sports RCT during volunteer week.
