I am an enthusiastic and reliable Ghana trained, Registered Nurse and nurse anesthetist, who is currently registered with the nursing and midwifery council of U.K. I have experience, varying from acute, sub acute and chronic. I have worked at the medical and surgical A/E of a tertiary hospital, managing cases such as hypoglycemia and HHS in DM patients, Sickle cell patients with Vaso occlusive crisis, cardiac arrest, and heart failure, MI, acute head injury, acute renal injury, TIA, acute asthmatic attack, extensive burns with hyperkalemia, poisoning, Upper GI bleeding, hemoperitoneum, envenomation from snake bite, PE, Guillain Barr syndrome, among others. My experience as a nurse anesthetist also made me involved in managing prenatal cases, including placental abruptio, accrete , uterine rupture, pre-eclampsia and eclampsia. Also, PPH. Asphyxia in children, among others. I am currently working in a long-term unit, where most patients have chronic, complex issues. I am passionate about providing exceptional care to patients and families, with good interpersonal communication skills. I am a driven and self-motivated professional and remain proactive in furthering my skills and qualifications to ensure I remain current in the ever advancing health field. I am highly adaptable and a team player who always puts the care of patients first.
