I feel I have a professional attitude and I am willing to work hard and try new experiences.
Due to my current work experience I am confident in storytelling, and playful engagement. I can demonstrate good skills in preparing snacks and meals, safe food handling, and maintaining hygienic practices.
I feel I am empathetic, understanding, and can remain calm under pressure.
I have experience with kitchen management, food presentation proficiency, and ensuring nutritional standards are met by completing my Nat5 course in Practical cooker in school this year.
I feel I am a good team player and can adapt to different environments and I am willing to learn new skills and give my very best.
My goal for this year is to start an NC in Social Sciences at The City Of Glasgow College. Following my exams I plan to leave school therefore I would be available for various days and hours to work.
I am 16 in May and have received my National Insurance Number.
I have carried out work experience weekly since November in Kinnaird Primary school. I have worked with the same Primary 1 class throughout this time.
Activities that I have carried out include reading and telling stories, spelling, maths, arts and crafts and physical education.
I feel this placement has helped me by gaining confidence in group settings and also one-to-one with individual pupils.
