Currently I am working office based situated within the Wigan area of Lancashire, for a well known drainage company. I have been working for this employer since 2022. Within my role I am responsible for day to day task. My main day to day task is in making sure that all jobs completed may these be reactive jobs or planned worked, they are closed down in a timely manor to not only meet our own deadlines but also process these for invoicing on time for our clients, along with this collecting accurate data to show any queries that may be relating to jobs that cant be invoiced and as a team working through these, along side this I am also responsible for all Health and Safety requirements, this ranges from PPE - Specialized training. I have many other responsibilities within my role that I am more than happy to discuss if needed.
At my previous employment it was my responsibility to ensure all invoices where created within a timely manor, dealing with many clients with are VAT registered and many clients who are also CIS registered, with this I was also responsible in making sure all invoices where paid onetime as per the companies rules. failure to receive payment, I would then liaise with a debt collectors to help along side us. One major part of my role was making sure that monthly VAT paperwork was completed onetime to have these submitted every quarter to the companies accountant.
