As a middle leader i have constant conversations with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) about the school's comprehension vision and strategy. I still teach a range of different lessons and classes, so the responsibilities in the classroom are still as important as the other responsibilities a middle leader has. I play a pivotal role in supporting learners and staff alike and a for driving the implementation of strategies and facilitating real change in schools. Manage a team of twenty teachers in the Literacy department, i have to observe, coach, and develop our teachers. I analysis data, look for gaps and then adapt learning for our pupils.
