Work History

ESG Manager

Boohoo Group Plc
Soho London
01.2022 - Current

Over the past three years, I have exclusively focused on sustainability, managing, and delivering various projects that have driven significant change. I have contributed to the development of my company’s ESG strategy, re-benchmarked targets, and consistently met personal KPIs. Additionally, I have played a key role in training both internal and external teams to implement crucial changes, advancing our roadmap toward a more sustainable business model. My work has also involved
substantial legal responsibilities, including leading my company’s investigation under the CMA (Competition and Markets Authority), establishing a quarterly legal reporting structure, and creating
and implementing new Green Claims Policies for all employees across the business.

Current key responsibilities as an ESG Manager:

  • CMA - Quarterly reporting, weekly tech scrape of all brand websites, mandatory group level policy training.
  • Product Certification – Checking and approving supplier certification for products containing more sustainable materials.
  • Supplier Support– Working with and onboarding key suppliers per region to become ‘approved’ to supply more sustainable materials. Training them to understand the certification requirements by material type, and creating a block with tech teams so only
approved suppliers can have orders placed against them if a product is marked as being more sustainable.
  • Internal and External Employee Training – Creating and rolling out updated training to colleagues and suppliers on all business-related sustainability requirements.
  • Carbon Accounting – Managing the relationship with our 3 rd party agency to collect quarterly
carbon data from all areas of our business to annually determine if we are hitting our decarbonization targets across our scope 1, 2 and 3.
  • Sustainability Partnerships – Have managed our relationships with all 3rd party sustainability partners. Such as WRAP T2030, Better Cotton, Emitwise, The Microfibre Consortium and any
annual reporting that aligns with these memberships.
