Laura Pyryt

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic student with a strong academic
background and a passion for media. Having successfully completed my
GCSEs, I am currently pursuing A-levels in Business, Media Studies, and
English Language and Literature at college. My goal is to further my
education in media at a Russell Group university, where I can deepen my
understanding and skills.

My experience as a babysitter has taught me valuable skills in
responsibility, communication, and problem-solving. Caring for children
has not only developed my ability to manage time effectively but has also strengthened my interpersonal skills, as I interact with both children and their parents. This role has fueled my desire to work creatively with people and has shown me the importance of adaptability in various situations.

I would love to work in a friendly environment, getting to know my colleagues as well as helping customers with their needs which will develop my understanding of the right ways to communicate with all age groups, assisting my desire to pursue media studies.

This summer i attended the NCS (National Citizen Service) Live it program gaining confidence to talk to new people, followed by teamwork skills and understanding/respecting other's thoughts/opinions.
