- I currently work for a large organisation as a qualified tutor and assessor. My primary responsibility is assessing learners, alongside arranging and delivering support sessions to aid the development of their apprenticeship. I work remotely and use a platform called BUD to assess learner work and to document all assessment and support sessions.
- I am also allocated learners within my local area, for whom I conduct workplace observations as a required component of their apprenticeship. In addition, I facilitate progress reviews every eight weeks with learners and their line managers or mentors to monitor progress, address any challenges, and ensure they remain on track to achieve their apprenticeship goals.

- I started my assessing career as a Dental tutor/assessor at Training 2000. My main duties were to assess and support learners on the Level 3 Dental Nurse apprenticeship preparing them for exams and portfolio building for their End Point Assessment. I also managed the learning process, ensuring the safety and wellbeing or learners, including the management of learner behaviour to maximise their development opportunities. I used a software called One file to set assessments and to assess. I also visited dental practices to carry out practical observations and carry out progress reviews.

- I worked at Standish Street Dental Practice for 6 years. I worked mostly in surgery and one day in the decontamination room. In surgery, I used the 3shape 3D scanner technology which allowed me to interact with patients more and got me more involved during treatment. I have experience orthodontic nursing working with the consultant and therapist, we worked with fixed braces and invisalign. I have a lot of experience first and second nursing for oral surgery including full mouth implant placements, open and closed sinus lifts and bone augmentation, which I did on a weekly basis. I also assisted during the restorative side of these cases so I have a good knowledge of the start to finish process. In surgery I put together treatment plans for the dentist and communicate with the receptionist team to ensure that all appointments get booked in correctly for the patient. I have also been on a course for a treatment coordinator role and have completed a fluoride varnish application course.

- I moved back to York Dental Care as I was offered a better hourly rate to go back as senior nurse. I really enjoy being senior nurse as I like to be organised and make better changes to the practice. I love being able to train new members of staff when necessary and help them learn to develop in their career. This practice is mostly nhs but we did some private work such as 6 month smile orthodontics, private endodontics and smile makeovers. This job taught me how to work well under pressure as with it being an nhs practice it is a very busy day and involves dealing with a lot of patients on a daily basis.

- I started my apprenticeship at this work place and I worked there for around 2 and a half years. A few months before qualifying I got offered the job as head nurse for when I do qualify. I had a number of responsibilities at my work place such as; doing the stock list, checking emergency drugs are in date and in stock, water testing, making sure staff members are working to the best of their ability and making sure cross infection is under control throughout the practice. I am a very organised and reliable individual and always make sure I am on time. I always go out my way to help people and to make sure that the working day runs as smoothly as possible. I have experience working in surgery where I have nursed for orthodontics and surgical extractions. I have worked in the decontamination room where I have used a washer disinfector and autoclave and do all the testing for those machines. I also work on reception using the EXACT software which I am very familiar with and have worked with this software for 2 and a half years.
