· Management of the full range of resources and skill sets within the ambulance service, in line with agreed deployment policies, for the purpose of achieving locally and nationally agreed performance standards. Dispatcher led allocation using software to effectively assign resources, prioritising the incidents according to their grade of emergency.

· Maintain accurate and detailed records to assist with retrospective investigation of complaints, clinical incidents, or coroners' court.

· Manage risk assessment for crews under my control at the scene, communicating throughout in a professional, responsible, and caring manner. Identifying any risks, raising them, and ultimately resolving them - often multi-agency (e.g. Police, Fire, Lifeguard).

· Manage own system information surrounding unit hour utilisation, manage the crew's workloads accordingly to help as many patients as possible within their shift, time management is key.

· Effective and confident use of all computer systems within Secamb, ability to multitask, and retrieve information from the systems speedily and accurately under pressure. Using maps to navigate the crews and allocating them using excellent geographical knowledge to maintain a speedy response.

· Ensured good relations and communication in stressful, emotive and challenging situations. Working closely with hospitals, out-of-hours care providers, and mental health facilities, to name a few.

· Worked with empathy and compassion to provide first-class service to patients in need, going the extra mile for patients where I could, for example finding next of kin quickly in situations where they need to move rapidly to their loved ones.

· Dealt with obstructive patients or disgruntled crews in a calm, professional manner to find a solution to their problem in a beneficial-to-all way (both business and persoanl).
