

I am a hard working and reliable individual, with a keen interest in zoo medicine. I am experienced in animal care & management, as well as client communications. I have previously completed a 2 week programme at Edinburgh Zoo, 2 week programme at Blackpool Zoo and will be completing a 2 week programme with Safari Vets in South Africa in June 2026. However, I am always looking for ways to expand my skill set & existing knowledge with zoo animals & conservation.
Responsibilities include handling of dogs, running basic blood, assisting with blood donation, and client welfare and communication
Responsibilities included milking cows and managing youngstock, disease checking & tractor operation. Includes sole charge and team working.
Most recently looking after the University of Bristol teaching horses, where responsibilities include basic handling skills and feeding.
Previously, worked at Mergie Stables (Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire) for 3 years, a sole charge role looking after 25 horses. My role included performing basic horse care, including basic veterinary care such as bandage changing and hand walking, as well as exercising of horses.
Have worked on various other yards, with a range of horses from stallions to young stock to high level competition horses.
Responsibilities included customer care, checkout, and fulfilling online shopping orders.
