Summary

Registered Adult Nurse with current NMC registration and experience working in acute and critical care environments. Through my clinical practice, I have developed strong assessment skills, clinical judgement, effective communication and professional accountability, enabling me to deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care.

I am committed to maintaining and developing my clinical knowledge and skills through continuing professional development (CPD) and clinically relevant education. My training includes Level 1 nursing competencies in emergency care and intensive therapy, and I am continuing to progress towards Step 2 critical care competencies. This demonstrates my commitment to lifelong learning, professional development and maintaining high standards of patient care.

My clinical experience has strengthened my ability to assess patients, recognise changes in their condition, prioritise care, manage clinical risks and escalate concerns appropriately. These skills are transferable to general practice, where early identification of health concerns, effective clinical assessment and appropriate referral are essential to patient safety.

I am keen to apply my existing clinical knowledge and develop my skills further within primary care. I understand the importance of health promotion, disease prevention, patient education, confidentiality, accurate record-keeping and working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team. I am particularly interested in supporting patients to manage their health, make informed decisions and improve their long-term health outcomes.

I am a motivated, compassionate and accountable nurse who is committed to delivering high-quality care in line with the NMC Code, local policies and evidence-based practice. I would welcome the opportunity to contribute my clinical experience, willingness to learn and patient-centred approach to a general practice team while undertaking any additional training required for the Practice Nurse role.
