My name is Lara Jane Marsh, I'm 19 years old and I am arriving in Australia in January 2024, my subclass 417 work visa has been granted and I'm looking to work in Australia with the aim of potentially staying longer term. I'm completely open minded in what field of work I do as I have broad experience and knowledge in different jobs for my age. I can guarantee you an honest days work, a motivated employee and a friendly, outgoing team member.
Since leaving school I have volunteered at my local animal shelter and became a countryside Ranger with Dorset Council. These experiences taught me the importance of wildlife conversation, caring for animals and our planet and valuable skills such as operation of tools and machinery and groundwork/hedgerow management skills. The role also taught me how to survey wildlife and acquired knowledge on horticulture and the importance of symbiotic relationships in nature.
I also have front of house and bartending training, so I have good people skills and vast knowledge of food and drink presentation and preparation including beer, ale, cocktail and wine knowledge.
My most recent field of work was a lifeguard and activities instructor. This included Segways, archery, mini land rovers and art classes in the art studio. Im very confident in teaching new skills to people of all ages and am very passionate and talented with art and photography. I am also fully first aid trained with certificates and I am qualified to use a defibrillator, a PXB board incase of a spinal injury and safe use of different techniques incase of drowning or critically injured person's.
