Accomplishments

I have recently just achieved my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award, I did this by canoeing 20km in a group of 6 without an adult there to help us.

I have also just sat 8 National 5 exams and will be going on to study for 5 Highers.

I have recently completed 4 days of work experience in my previous Primary school. This involved following the teacher instructions to assist with setting up for parents night, helping the children with lessons- reading, maths and correcting homework. The school have asked me to return to help with the Sports Day

The previous 2 summers I have assisted a primary school teacher to organise and set up her classroom for the following year. This involved following the teachers instructions and organising resources and displays.

I am entering into my third year of being a Brownie leader which involves supervising my own group of 7-10 year olds weekly, deciding on appropriate activities to do with them and helping to resolve any issues which arise during the sessions.
