Summary
Young competent Engineer with 1+ year of experience in the yachting industry. My time in yachting was cut short temporarily due to my Mother passing away, I've since taken time out of the industry to be there for my Dad but I was fortunate to still work locally within the Maritime industry during that time.
Along with 1+ year in Yachting, I bring 7+ years of commercial marine engineering experience, including LNG carriers, DP2 PSVs, Crew Transfer Vessels, and Ro-Ro vessels, operating in highly regulated and safety-critical environments. I have a strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding background, with experience in dry dock periods, refits, and planned maintenance. I pride myself on being health and safety conscious, calm and collected under pressure, and meticulous in my approach to carrying out maintenance and fault finding, while actively continually developing my technical aptitude.
Currently seeking the right opportunity to re-establish myself in the industry. Big believer in team work makes the dream work and willing to muck in where needed, my previous captain can attest to this.
