I am currently pursuing a Master's in civil engineering at the University of Surrey with the aim of acquiring a First-Class Degree. I am confident with the ability to relate with a wide range of people as well as a diligent and hardworking individual who is efficient working under pressure. I have experience of 3 years in design and construction of highway, drainage and bridge structures with adequate knowledge on CIVIL3D, ABAQUS, ARCGIS, HY-8 and HEC-RAS. I am looking for employment in the highway, drainage or bridge department. I am currently registered as a Graduate Member with the Institute of Civil Engineers and I am looking forward to becoming a Chartered Member.

- Sizing of drainage structures such as box culverts using HEC-RAS and HY-8
- Delineation of catchments (including their parameters) for numerous bridge or culvert crossings using ArcGIS
- Carry out numerous inspections of bridges and road sites and proposing possible interventions in form of an inspection report
- Design and analysis of box culverts and bridge structures using ABAQUS in accordance with the Ministry of Works and Transport Highway and Bridge Manual, Eurocode and the UK National Annex
- Design of pavements, profiles, horizontal and vertical alignments for numerous road projects in accordance with the Ministry of Works and Transport Highway and Bridge Manual, Eurocode and the UK National Annex using AutoCAD CIVIL 3D
- Ensure that materials such as concrete and steel are of the required quality through material testing as part of quality control and assurance
- Check highway and drainage structure designs, Bill of Quantities (Interim Payment Certificates) and drawings submitted by consultants
- Communicate with the suppliers, consultants, contractors, the public and fellow engineers with the organisation through letters and memos.
