I have a strong lineage of experience that has ranged starting from Hardware specialism, to working for a Microsoft Gold Partner (Century Computing Ltd) which involved managing and undertaking all levels of technical service provision including Professional Technical Consultation and implementing a variety of infrastructure solutions.

I have spent the last few years working within Education bringing commercial skills to an education setting to improve the solutions and systems available for the students and staff members of the Windsor Academy Trust. Having now completed a successful tenure within the education sector, and my children have now grown up, I am looking forward to committing to new challenges where I can bring my vast experience and knowledge into a new role.

  • This post is much needed to add direction and impetus to the development of our IT infrastructure and its use in Teaching and Learning and within professional services. The role will be responsible to the Head of Planning and Project Delivery and onwards to the Executive team.
  • Once appointed the role will work on the development and implementation of a strategic approach to IT. Whilst there is a general direction of travel envisaged it is expected that the appointment will be able to use their knowledge, insight, and experience to ensure that our vision for IT is achieved in the most effective way.
  • There are many pressure points that occur in IT that often require intense periods of work. Therefore one of the key priorities will be to support the newly appointed Head of Planning and Project Delivery in identifying these in advance so that resources can be allocated effectively to meet this challenge. Part of this will include developing roles and expertise that support each school and facilitation of projects/work across our family of schools. In addition to this, there is a need to develop our Apple expertise in light of the 1:1 device initiative so this will also be a priority in establishing in-house expertise.
