Enthusiastic and reliable A-Level student studying Biology, Chemistry and Drama at Drapers' Academy, aspiring to attend university to pursue my dream of dentistry. I have developed excellent communication, confidence, time management and organisational skills through schools productions, DofE Silver and running and attending clubs. I thrive in professional and social environments, being able to work professionally whilst being able to read the room easily and navigating problems with care and calmness.   • Followed two patients from their initial injury to recovery, being taught on how healthcare professionals in different fields approach a case to provide a patient the best possible care.
  • Understood how the location of a healthcare professional (e.g. ward, practice, patient's home) can affect the patient and how accessible recieving care can be.
  • Widened my knowledge of the multitude of NHS careers available to pursue.
  • Developed my understanding on how healthcare functions on the foundation of being a multidisciplinary team.

  • Persuasive writer - Involved in school newspaper club and competed in regional finals in Jack Petchey Speak Out 2024 for my speech I wrote after winning 3 previous rounds: the workshop, the staff-voted and the assembly final
  • Leadership & Responsibility - Ran a KS3 drama club during year 10, leading warm-ups, organising and directing small performances whilst encouraging and nuturing them to explore their creativity
  • Teamwork - Adore working in teams, easily adapted and navigated group dynamics especially during my DofE Silver expedition as I mediated and resolved disagreements and managed to consistently keep energy up
  • Confidence & Public speaking - Have been in 4 school productions, having been the lead in my previous one Participated twice in my school's talent show, performing a cultural dance and saying a speech beforehand to encourage others to be proud of their identity and to shed light on current issues

Accomplishments

  • Multiple Subject awards - Science award every year since year 9, English award in year 8 and 10, Drama award in year 9, Principal's award year 9.
  • Ross Cup - A prestigious award for contributing the most to the life and environment of the school and community, gifted to me in year 11 for my constant involvement in activites and always speaking out in what I believed in.

Hobby and interests

  • Theatre & Performing - Very passionate about expression and change through theatre and acting, seen multiple shows and adore analysing performances and their effects on the audience. Also joined a non-profit theatre group named The Habbit Factory for the past 3 years to fulfill my desire to perform and have an audience outside of education.
  • Reading - Love a variety of genres, recently more interested into feminist literature and how different authors of different backgrounds present feminism into something digestable.
  • Drawing - A creative medium used as an outlet and an exploratory tool since I was young.
  • Science - Specfically biology and chemistry, have always been fascinated by the machine that is the body and the interactions of so many molecules creating the world we live in, hence pursuing it at A-Levels for personal interest rather than solely for dentistry.
