I am currently a Year 12 A-level student, studying Maths, Politics and Economics. I have applied for an EPQ looking at the reasons why the UK voted for Brexit. I have a passion for Economics and Politics and hope to study both subjects at University.
I would like to apply for the Rothschild UK pioneer work experience programme as I have a keen interest in learning more about a career in financial advisory. The programme appeals to me as it is broad-based and will provide me with a valuable insight into life as a banker. I am a firm believer in networking and gaining in-person experience to understand the different areas that I could potentially pursue in my future career.
I have a developing interest in Economics and Politics and am currently Head of the Economics And Politics society at my school I regularly take part in Model United Nations conferences and recently chaired a conference I have also been heavily involved in organising the MUN conference at our school for the past 2 years and have won Outstanding Delegate at a recent conference
I have completed Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards and am currently working towards my Gold Award I find The Duke of Edinburgh award to be great opportunity to push myself out of my comfort zone as it encourages me to explore new challenges
Last year I took part in the Cambridge Biology Challenge My team and I were invited to Cambridge University awards day as we placed in the top 9 teams nationally which was an incredible eye-opening experience
