In this period of time, I worked as a General Dentist and also assisted in surgical and implant interventions.
General dentistry tasks included; conducting routine dental check-ups for early detection of oral health issues making sure to adhere strictly to safety guidelines to minimise risk of cross-infection between patients and sterilisation of equipment and maintaining clean working environment. Diagnosing patients' dental conditions by reviewing their medical history, direct examinations and x-rays. Interpreted X-rays to make accurate diagnoses and decisions about current treatments and outside referrals. Implementing preventative measures against tooth decay by educating patients about oral hygiene practices. I also managed appointments efficiently to avoid delays whilst ensuring each patient received adequate attention.
Collaborated with other healthcare professionals and assisted in oral and maxillofacial surgeries to correct various dental deformities.
