Summary

I am a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic with experience across diverse industries, including agriculture, hospitality, and customer service. I have gained hands-on experience at a cattle station, developing strong physical endurance, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. I’ve also built excellent customer service and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced coffee shop and restaurant/ice cream parlour. I am reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. I am seeking an opportunity to bring my enthusiasm, dedication and skills to a role where I can make a positive impact as well as further develop my career.

I have recently completed a certificate in the Fundamentals of Data Analysis. Through this course I have developed foundational skills in areas such as data visualization, data cleaning, and descriptive statistics, with a focus on applying insights to real-world scenarios.

Work history

Freelance Artist

Freelance Artist | January 2025 - Current

I am currently setting up a business creating custom pet portraits in acrylic paint. This involves managing projects from client brief to final product including digital mock-ups. Whilst the majority of this work will be pet portraits, I am also producing landscapes as well as prints. I am confident with different painting techniques and tools, and manage my own materials and workspace.

Station Hand

Charlevue Brangus Cattle Co. | May - Sept 2023

On this cattle station my main responsibility was feeding livestock, including successfully weaning calves and using a skid-steer loader to transport hay into round bale feeders around different paddocks on the property. I assisted with mustering efforts, branding, ear tagging, elastration, vaccinating, drafting, and processing cattle through the crush. In addition to this, I performed property maintenance such as fencing, water and lick runs, trough cleaning, spraying weeds, cutting grass and other general station duties. I often drove a buggy, quad bike, and 4WD around the 45,000-acre property in order to complete tasks.

Senior Barista / Assistant Manager

Coffee Republic | April 2021 - March 2023

In my role as Assistant Manager, I led a team to increase daily sales by effectively training new staff to ensure they understood their duties and how to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. I successfully prepared and served food and beverages, with additional responsibilities of opening/closing the shop, organising interviews, dealing with complaints, handling cash, and ensuring stock levels were maintained. I used my artistic skills to boost customer engagement through advertisement of products, as well as creating and promoting seasonal specials.

Waitress

Favoloso | May 2018 - April 2021

In this position I carried out a variety of tasks including taking orders and serving drinks at the counter, handling money at the tills, serving food, clearing tables, making crepes/waffles, organising stock, washing dishes and cleaning around the restaurant. During the summer I would spend most of my time running the ice cream parlour; taking orders, serving take-away, making sundaes, and training new staff.

Sales Assistant

One Stop | March - April 2020

I worked temporarily at this store during lockdown as my permanent place of employment was closed. I was only in this position for a month but during this time I completed assessments on topics such as safety and serving age restricted products, before going on to work behind the counter serving customers as well as stocking shelves.

Volunteering

Aboriginal Ministry

I have spent the last couple of years in Australia where I joined up with a Pastor who spent time travelling to aboriginal communities across the country to share the word of God. This was an eye-opening experience to get to know people living in these communities and their history. I enjoyed the opportunity to learn from more experienced people in ministry and to

be able to support large events which brought the communities together as well as offering them guidance in faith.

Scouting

I used to volunteer for the 23rd Eastbourne Cub Scouts which was important to me because scouting had a large positive impact on my childhood, and it was rewarding to be able to give back to the association so that the next generation of children could have similar experiences. I found volunteering in the group helped to build my confidence as well as leadership skills.

Interests

I enjoy painting in my free time, particularly working with acrylics and exploring different styles and techniques. I also play guitar and love going on hikes to discover new places and gather inspiration from nature.

Currently, I am studying for my private pilot’s license - the first step toward my long term goal of flying for a commercial airline. I am also learning British Sign Language to improve my communication skills and broaden my ability to connect with others.
