Working as a rigger on the skandi inventor for the change out 36"subsea connecter on to a rigid pipeline manifold for client GASSCO in norway, this was the first Time this type of opperation has been carried out subsea. Description : recovery of 9 christmas tree and 118 concrete mattresses in a team of 5 riggers assisting with the company Claxton for the connecting and disconnection of the trees.

Presently functioning on the Race Bank wind farm project on the Havila Phoenix vessel. The project involves laying and trenching subsea export cables utilising one of the world’s largest subsea trenching apparatus the T3200. My daily Rigging responsibilities include using my in-depth rigging experience to ensure that lifting operations on deck involving the T3200 and also out boarding the A frame are carried out in a safe and efficient manner. Carrying out pre use checks on lifting equipment prior to use and ensuring SIMOPs are carried out in a safe manner whilst the Winches, A frame,T3200 are in operations.
Working on board the FPSO, duties included rigging and banking of the Sarens 1200t crawler crane. I was also involved in rigging up various size structures, spools, valves and accommodation modules. Other areas of work included working inside the turret winches, sheaves etc. Setting up for pull-ins and various rigging duties on the board the FPSO including managing a team of riggers.
Duties on board included riser and umbilical recovery using (VLS) vertical lay system. Removal of mid water arch, clamps, buoyancy modules, horizontal and vertical anchor clamps. Recovery of various size subsea structures along with other rigging activities on deck.
I was involved in the refurbishment of the Blackford Dolphin drill rig. My duties included changing and renewing valves, pressure pumps and spools. I also worked in the pontoons renewing the ballast pipe work. This involved setting up chain blocks, soft and wire slings and banking of cranes.
Three Week shutdown as a Contracting rigger working on behalf of Siemens on a Database Centre which needed mostly minor lifts, But a few major and complicated lifts including a 15ton water base tank.
I was working as a rope access rigger technician painting and rigging fresh steel up the transporter bridge I worked in a team of technicians prepping and painting the bridge and I was the lead rigger on site working of heights of up to 70meters.
