Early Childhood Education Center (3-5 year old students, with 6-13 year old students for after school/school break care).

Duties included:

• Curriculum building and lesson planning
• Working with families from a variety of backgrounds, including parent teacher conferences to discuss strategies to improve targeted academics and behavioral incidents
• Individualized lessons to the needs of students on case by case basis: Included identifying knowledge, skills, and development gaps, as well as implementing teacher training to bridge them.
• Testing and evaluation of student growth in core areas (alphabet identification, color identification, name writing, etc.)
• Establishing supportive learning environments to help ensure success for staff and students
• Supporting teachers and learning assistants by providing effective teaching methods for subject curriculum, as well as methods to implement the scaffolding of knowledge
• Light administrative duties such as document building and filing: Included customized behavioral reports, parent contact sheets, training manuals, attendance and meal tracking paperwork for state programs, evaluation data logging/charting as well as instructions for others to be able to maintain logs and utilize the information within to target specific needs of students, creation of customized business-specific enrollment forms, and more.
• Cleaning of building and sanitization of toys and materials used in order to maintain health standards

Cared for paternal grandfather in a caretaking and personal assistant role. Responsibilities included (but not limited to):

• Communication between all healthcare professionals working with grandfather
• Managing and administering daily medications, including daily insulin injections
• Daily tracking of vital signs in order to track state of health conditions such as diabetes and congestive heart failure
• First hand care when required such as assistance with recovery following a fall incident, assistance with basic care tasks during times of illness (feeding, restroom use, personal hygiene, et)
• Facilitating interactions with Veterans Association and doctors to procure medication
• Assistance with bill management
• Errand running and grocery shopping
• Providing transportation to any stores, activities, or appointments

Full teaching duties including:

• Lesson planning, including creating homework, marking assignments, and implementing class activities to monitor individuals' progress
• Lesson delivery in line with state standards, school guidelines, and curriculum guidelines
• Classroom management to foster safe and effective learning environments
• Content area collaboration with other teachers within the same subject area, as well as collaboration with teachers in other subject areas to ensure students received a balanced workload across their classes
• Working with students from a variety of backgrounds
• IEP implementation to meet the needs of students with special education and emotional needs
• Administering formative and summative assessments to check for learning with students
• Engaged students with lesson materials by building positive rapport.

• Cleaning of facility rooms such as dining areas, activities rooms, and physical rehabilitation room

Cash register, assisting customers with information regarding locations of items in store, returning items to sale floor, maintaining aisle cleanliness
