Summary

I am a very focused, hardworking and dedicated professional with a wealth of public, private and third sector experience. This includes over 30 years’ administrative and management experience, along with achieving a postgraduate qualification in Management Studies. With the business acumen I have gained, I am able to evaluate and identify areas within an organisation which can be improved to be more efficient, effective and to ‘add value'. I am a down-to-earth person, who has a warm and friendly personality, with a polite manner and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. I have a genuine desire to help others and with my friendly, polite and caring nature I am able to communicate with people of all ages and from all walks of life, to build an instant rapport and put people at ease. I pride myself on setting and achieving exceptionally high standards in everything I do, approaching every task with a ‘can-do' attitude, and feel my drive, tenacity and eye for detail always ensures I am efficient and thorough when undertaking any task. I am a very organised person who is able to prioritise tasks with ease and who thrives in a busy environment. I am a very self-motivated person who always uses her initiative and so works very well autonomously and as part of a successful team. I would class myself as an astute person who is a quick learner and therefore able to learn new skills with ease. I am a very methodical and thorough person, who has been praised on many occasions by clients and colleagues for being a friendly, caring, positive, inspirational and thorough person, who shows empathy and understanding. I pride myself on going the ‘extra mile’ to achieve success by using both innovative and creative approaches. Having taken early retirement to care for my beautiful granddaughter, who is now older and at pre-school, I am now looking to utilise my skills and experience to do a part-time role as a Receptionist/Administrator. I have also recently started a voluntary role as a Receptionist/Administrator for a local charity in Droitwich.
