Work History

Mentor

Anderida Care
Eastbourne, East Sussex
10.2024 - Current

Anderida Care is made up of five homes, where children that have come under the care of the local authority are housed.

My role has me work 2:1 with a young person in a domestic setting.

I am responsible for looking after the young person throughout the day, documenting their daily activities, food intake, hygiene, education and any safeguarding issues that arise.

I liaise with outside agencies to support their ongoing care.

The young people that come to Anderida often have a trauma based background and need a specialised package of care, using PACE, a THRIVE approach and trauma response. I take great pride in the work I have done with the young people enabling them to access their education and being good members of society.
