Cloud & Desktop Support Engineer

Responsible for end user device management utilising Intune, Jamf and Apple Business Manager, JML (Joiner, Mover and Leaver) IT processes, internal IT equipment (e.g. monitors, printers and Audio-Video equipment), Cloud Services (e.g. Microsoft365, AzureAD) and IT infrastructure (e.g. network related assistance as required) within R3 global offices.


Maintenance of centralized asset management / CMDB to reflected IT equipment issuing state (e.g. In Stock, In Use, To Be Retired), ensure all IT processes are documented, continually improving processes and working to share knowledge across the team to deliver enterprise grade IT Services.

  • Working within the IT Services team to provide IT support to 400+ users spread across global locations.
  • Undertake Access Management tasks including user provisioning / de-provisioning and security group amendments to support employees and external contractors.
  • Build Windows and Mac laptops for employees and external contractors using automated deployment tools and internal processes.
  • Support, maintain and troubleshoot global office hardware including printers, conferencing / AV equipment, display screens, telecoms, laptops, phones and tablets.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing, troubleshooting and upgrading software, hardware, and applications.
  • Carry out meeting room and town hall Audio-Visual equipment checks, liaising with 3rd party vendors to report faults and repairs.
  • Provide remote/onsite support to all users including at events, both internal and external.
  • Ensure correct security and compliance standards are being followed across all IT assets including maintenance of content management database (CMDB) entries.
  • Support Cyber Essential Plus (CE+), ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance initiatives
  • Documentation production and review.
