• Splicing of 24f blown fibre cables into Virgin L3 and L4 cabs as well as the OLT
• Engaged power meters and optical time domain reflectometers to test fibre integrity.
• Conducted automated and manual testing operations in alignment with test plans.
• Took screenshots and diligent notes, documenting issues and escalating for resolution.

• Subcontractor for John Henry's Group working on the Virgin Media 02 contract (PIA) in Northamptonshire.

  Setting up and connecting a new PON in for FTTP in Stoke On Trent and Colchester.
• Cabling (using push and pull technique) routes set out by civil engineers, using designs/maps to locate cabinets, joints and underground chambers along cabling route.
• Splicing and testing 48 fiber cabinets.
• Splicing and testing 288 fiber ODFs.
• Using Exfo OTDR test machine, saving and reading results, and fault
  finding and solving
