Work History

Assistant site manager

Morgan Sindall
Wolverhampton, West Midlands
02.2025 - 04.2025

To fulfill the requirements of my course, I needed to complete a total of 350 hours of work experience. This experience allowed me to work on a project from start to finish, where I joined Morgan Sindall to help complete a second building for my sixth form.

In my first 15 hours of work, I shadowed the site manager and attended meetings, gaining valuable experience for the future, I completed tasks such as checking for defects, inspecting windows, marking lines for rooms, and familiarising myself with site rules.

As I accumulated 50 hours of work, I grew more familiar and confident in my responsibilities. I conducted various inspections and defect checks, recording any issues that needed resolution. Additionally, I prepared progress reports and ensured that all workers were wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

After completing 100 hours of work, I was able to take on tasks independently. This experience challenged me to overcome obstacles and become more self-sufficient. As a result, I believe my work ethic and attitude have greatly improved. After completing 100 hours of work, I was entrusted with tasks to handle independently. This experience helped me overcome challenges and become more self-sufficient. I believe that as a result, my work ethic and attitude have greatly improved.
