I am an international medical graduate (IMG) doctor , currently working in the United Kingdom under Health Education England ,Yorkshire and the Humber Deanery.
I graduated from University of Medicine 1 in Yangon, Myanmar in February 2012 and achieved GMC certificate of full registration as a medical practitioner in the UK in July 2017 after passing PLAB test ( Professional and Linguistic Assessments board ).
Currently, I am working as a speciality registrar ST6 in Scarborough General Hospital in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
I became a RCOG member after completing MRCOG part 3 exam in May 2024.
Worked as speciality registrar ST5 providing care to women in both acute and outpatient settings.
Worked as a junior registrar in providing health care to women in both obstetrics and gynaecological conditions.
It was the first year of my speciality training in O&G. I worked as a junior doctor developing my knowledge and skills required for clinical practice.
Provided care for women in both obstetric and gynaecological conditions in both acute and outpatient settings.
Obstetrics :
- Emergency and Elective Caesarean section ,
- Female sterilisation,
- Operative vaginal deliveries including both forceps and ventouse/kiwi deliveries,
- Perineal repairs of episiotomy wound or perineal tears
- Manual removal of placenta
Gynaecology :
- Surgical management of miscarriage
- Insertion/ removal of intrauterine system / Mirena IUS
- Manual vacuum aspiration
- Incision and drainage of Bartholin abscess
- Cervical punch biopsy
- Vulval biopsy
- Hysteroscopy
- Endometrial pipette sampling
- Laparoscopic treatment of ectopic pregnancy
- Diagnostic laparoscopy and simple operative procedures such as laparoscopic sterilisation , adhesiolysis
