I currently only have a weeks worth of work experience which was at Kings College Hospital. While there I worked on my administrative skills and communicative skills. Due to current unemployment and lots of time from finishing GCSE I am available to work immediately. I am a dedicated professional with a strong foundation in organisational efficiency and discretion, adept at maintaining confidentiality and composure under pressure. Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in data entry, ensuring accurate data input and seamless telephone operation. Committed to delivering friendly customer service with a professional attitude, while consistently exhibiting good judgement and reliability. My career goals include continuing with my education at sixth form and then pursuing a degree in architecture at university.
During my experience in year 10 I was 1 of 13 students selected out of 180 to participate in the Brilliant Club. This exercise provided me with the opportunity to be mentored by a PhD student and after a month of interactions and classroom-based discussions, I completed a 2000-word essay. This assignment was marked at university standards, and I proudly achieved a 2:1 grade. This built my self-confidence and resilience to new challenges. It also demonstrated the potential my teachers saw in my abilities.
I was also selected to participate in an additional Gcse for Maths Statistics in year 10, From this experience i earned a Grade 6 from just 2 months of being taught the gcse content. This demonstrates my ability to catch on to things quickly and my adaptability also my determination.
Outside of my academic pursuits, I am actively involved in sports such as football and basketball. Being a member of my school’s football and basketball team has mainly allowed me to develop important life skills such as teamwork, punctuality, and leadership. These experiences have helped me to build a well-rounded character and will contribute to my success at any workplace.
Throughout my school years I have participated in many voluntary work such as;
-Joining my school choir
-Joining my school football, basketball, tennis and chess team
-Being apart of my primary and secondary school counselling team(I believe this helped to structure my communication and leadership skills from a young age)
-Participating in a scholars programme for my school
Also currently my grandmother and great grandmother have moved in with my parents and they require a lot of help in which I aid them with. For example arranging the different pills that my great grandmother takes daily. I think completing such tasks would develop my hand-eye coordination in which would integrate perfectly in a work atmosphere.
