- Created automated uptime and latency checks in Google Cloud for internal and client use, using a combination of Python scripts, Google Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, and BigQuery datasets, leading to 99.9% availability.
- Responsible for the creation of Terraform modules to be used in order to configure monitoring and logging, as part of a wider repository of Terraform modules for client GCP infrastructure. This facilitated rapid provisioning of production-ready GCP organisations and allowed for reusability with different clients.
- Created a monitoring solution for App Development team's GKE project which used a Python script in conjunction with Cloud Logging to identify and alert for any error-based logs in GKE pods. This increased the level of granularity in error reporting and monitoring on the project, allowing for much faster incident response.
- Developed comprehensive documentation outlining best practices for cloud operations management, promoting knowledge sharing amongst team members.
