During my role as a band 5 staff nurse in an Acute medical ward which provides care for all age ranges and medical conditions, I delivered consistently high standards of individualised nursing care, best maintaining patients' health and wellbeing. During this role I also collaborated with multidisciplinary team members for holistic patient care, whilst upholding the highest standards of professional ethics whilst dealing with sensitive information. During my time on the ward I often took charge on shift as a senior staff member, demonstrating excellent time management skills whilst handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. I was in charge of a large number of patients and delocating to staff and prioritising tasks. whilst working on such a large ward I achieved successful treatment outcomes by meticulously following doctor's instructions. I have also managed emergency situations effectively, maintaining calm under pressure, from unwitnessed falls to cardiac arrests. on each shift I administered presrcibed medcaitons both oral and Intravenous methods to enhance patients conditions and relieve symotoms. I maintained accurate patient records, ensuring data integrity, whilst also facilitating therapeutic communication with patients to understand their needs better. On each shift I worked closely with fellow nurses, doctors and clinicians for consistent communication and continued best care practices.
