Chipping Norton

Summary

Following careers in Engineering and then as a Design Technology teacher I am keen to explore a new professional path. My teaching experience has enabled me to consolidate a number of transferable skills, notably the strong ability to communicate with a wide range of people, coupled with a professional approach to the work environment.

Heightened problem solving and time management strengths have allowed me to organise and deliver creative, technical projects under pressure, manage hands-on workshop tasks with large groups of individuals, applying a wide range of machine and hand-tool based technical skills; this has been supported by a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams etc) and CAD software. Attention to detail has been vital in both my previous careers, as well as working confidently, independently and collaboratively.

I bring strong interpersonal skills, with a wealth of public speaking proficiency, emotional intelligence, a practical mindset, and the ability to stay calm, adaptable, supportive and solutions-focused in a complex environment.
