I had been working for XPO for just over 9 years on their DAD contract in Tewkesbury before being made redundant in November 2025.

During my time at DAD I had various roles over the 9 years. I did 3 years working nights trunking to Manchester 5 nights a week. I would arrive at the depot and help unload the trailer and load the vehicles ready for multidrop delivery's the following day.then bring any returns back to Tewkesbury and complete all relevant paperwork.

I then went onto day work with some nights out covering the whole of the country. Some loads would be bulk loads but I also did multidrop aswell in the artic.

Occasionally if the artic work was slow I would drive rigid vehicles and do multidrop delivery's as required.

At DAD it was mostly box work I did but I do have experience with curtainsiders and double deck trailers as well.

I would also work in the office when required doing basic admin duties and also helping with vehicle compliance by making sure all vehicle head units were downloaded in line with XPO policies.

I worked for bensons delivering beds and bedroom furniture to customers homes as part of a 2 man team.All goods were taken to the customers room of choice and some goods we would assemble and remove all packaging.
