Project 1 - (March 2017-May 2018) Having taken a different direction from a business owner for 23 years, I embarked on a large Tier 1 contract for London AC to develop the design, implement pre construction, recruit, plan and deliver 71no resilient cooling systems at the new Tottenham Hotspur Football Stadium, White Hart Lane, London.


Project 2 - (May 2018 - March 2022). Continuing on Special projects, London AC embarked on securing the largest Air Conditioning contract in Europe installing 450no Daikin Altherma Systems


My Roles in general for both contracts in the last 6 years were:-


  • Manage projects in various areas in planning, implementing and delivery.
  • Come up with unique ideas to sharpen the delivery more accurate plans and programme areas of completion,
  • Manage contractors and clients on a daily basis and review weekly progress.
  • Gauge the performance of the various teams and recommend areas that need improvement and possible changes to achieve the targets.
  • Having the ability to change both concept design and specific VRV changes due to pipe sizing to allow the correct oil return to aid long term life of the Air Conditioning equipment.
  • Carryout H&S Audits and ensuring all staff meet the standards and mandatory measures.
  • Ensure that all the important tasks are assigned with clarity. A proper chain of work is being followed to avoid confusion during the various stages of project development.
  • Provide additional support as necessary.

As a business, Ergro Mechanical, the parent company through successful delivery in all aspects of HVAC and fit out, made an executive decision to create subsidiary companies, Electrical, Building, Air Conditioning and service.


My expertise in Air Conditioning was utilised on the day to day operations in delivering all aspects of the company including all quotations, buying, delivery and after sales on a turnover of around 3-4m every year on repeated end user clients.


My role as business owner was extended also to assisting in running and operating the company to ensure and maintaining the companies operations.


My role included:-


  • Client interaction on large corporate portfolio to maintain work flow streams
  • Site surveys on all Air Conditioning enquiries from small splits to VRV'Fs replacements. New installations in all Air Conditioning, heating and ventilation services.
  • Extensive knowledge in consultancy and formulating specifications in designing systems for all end user clients.
  • All works were as principal Contractor, so strong attention to full design and delivery of the project maintaining safety and welfare to both clients used building and our staff to deliver all jobs with a real focus on client satisfaction,

As the business was expanding, my role went from an HVAC engineer/Installer, to supervising small teams of installers across a multi area of works with refurbishments in occupied buildings. These would be large boiler rooms, replacement of Air conditioning systems, assisting technically on all aspects of HVAC.
