KEVAN WARD

Summary

I have twenty-one years of teaching experience in a variety of schools and colleges and this has helped me to continually improve my teaching practice. I attend maths conference, which helps to enrich my sessions from current research and other teachers who have written papers or books from their wealth of knowledge and understanding.

I have a good rapport with my students that helps me to understand their difficulties so they can develop their mathematical abilities. This in turn helps my students to become motivated to learn and achieve.

I see teaching mathematics as a vocation to help students see the beauty in mathematics and how problem solving will help them not only in their chosen vocation but across every aspect of their lives.
