Summary

A motivated and compassionate advocate for children, young people and adults with learning disabilities, dedicating my career, over 25 years, to working in this field. After gaining my degree, I have worked in a variety of settings for both children, young people and adults with learning disabilities including respite, education and residential care in a number of roles working up from Support Worker to Registered Manager. I know that in this field, no two days are the same. An ambitious professional and use my knowledge and experience to the best of my abilities yet always strive to improve my knowledge base. Working to the highest of standards and expect others to do the same, leading by example, prioritising service user wellbeing with a dedicated staff team. I have worked in a variety of Ofsted and CQC settings.
