Summary

For the last three years I have worked as a Community Nurse within the Health Visiting Team. Prior to this I worked within acute settings as a Children's Nurse.

My work experiences have all provided a range of experiences, knowledge and skills which shape the practitioner I am today.

I have gained valuable experience working with a diverse range of families. This has involved supporting families through the completion of holistic assessments to identify areas of targeted interventions and health promotion. I recognise the importance of delivering health promotion advice to help ensure every child has the best possible start in life.

I have strong communication skills and can adapt communication to the individual.

I am keen to further develop my experience, knowledge and skills, and progress in my career through undertaking the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing course and qualifying as a health visitor.
