Homemaker/Caregiver

From the period of 2001 to the present time, I took time off to start and raise a family. When I was ready to return to the workplace in 2012 my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and I became his primary caregiver until his death 2020. Although some people would see this as a negative, I saw it as an opportunity to learn a different level of communication and patience. I dealt with all levels of his care, organized all appointments, and communicated with the different members of his care team.
