Kenzie Bunting

I am currently a 5th year student, ready to begin 6th year, at Airdrie Academy, looking to begin my working life.

My education over the last few years has been a bit hectic due to the Covid-19 pandemic, however I feel I have learned many skills and grown as a person due to this.

I have had to learn to adapt to the circumstances thrown at us, and through this my time-keeping skills, self-motivation and the ability to work hard have improved massively. Without being in a classroom environment, I have had to learn to push myself and organise my own time schedule in order to complete my qualifications.

Also, during this time I have been helping my Mum with my family, as I have four younger brothers, 3 of whom are under 6 years old. I have had to learn to juggle my school work and studies with helping out with my family; one of my brothers has ASN so we have had to work together to ensure his needs are met, as well as teaching my other brothers the things they would have been learning in nursery/primary school.

I am a hard-working and motivated individual, who is keen to get into working life. I am very confident, and therefore am happy to work individually or as part of a team.
