Senior Field Engineer my role was to visit customers throughout Germany and Europe trouble shoot issues fix and repair order and fitment off parts if required .Mainly scissor lifts , Telehandlers, Boom lifts supplied by company .

Also organized a large warehouse carrying out inspections off incoming /outgoing machines where Quality control is paramount.

Responsible for inspections on a large fleet off military vehicles making sure before hand back to the military vehicles where safe and in 100% working order .Advising Mechanics on correct work procedures always following health and safety rules and always there to assist and intervene if required .

As a Field Engineer i covered a very wide spectrum of Caterpillar/Perkins Engines supplied to customers worldwide ,travelling at a moments notice arranging all travel aspects from flights/hotels/transportation .

On site with customers looking into a vast array of issues trouble shooting mechanical failure's replacing parts to software updates then supplying reports for further investigations .

Working in all environment's from 50 C in Dubai to -20 in Montana .

In some cases 280 machine visits worldwide in one trip , with a 100% positive success rate achieved and very happy customers .

In turn repeated orders of engines from supply with a cost off £3 million annually on a repeat basis from a single customer .

• Developed and implemented operations manuals, policies and procedures and maintenance programmes schedules.
• Completed extensive and minor repairs, both reactive and preventative, on all types of Engines supplied by both Caterpillar and Perkins
• Attended callouts and preventative maintenance visits in timely manner to prevent client loss of business.

• Helped to reduce carbon footprint by efficient utilisation of energy usage and waste disposal.

Military contracts servicing and fault finding on U.S Army equipment specialising on M1A1 Abrams tanks trouble shooting with the assistance of diagnostic tools engine removal (Gas Turbine ) maintenance on the Hull and servicing bringing the engine back to 100% efficiency .

Quality Control Manager Kuwait providing knowledge and expertise to 80 personnel on 3 large servicing lines of HMMVs ,Osh Kosh Transporters making sure safety aspects where adhered too ,work was completed on time on budget and achieving a zero policy on failures when handed back to the U.S Military .

Mechanic working with a small Petroleum company in Wyoming and Montana USA ,specific tasks included writing and implementing preventative maintenance programs and servicing a wide array of compressors engines Caterpillar/Arrow ,that had never seen any servicing since built on ground 5 years prior .

Introducing use of Log books ,fire fighting equipment and safe working environment for future visits in very harsh conditions work was carried out .

General servicing and modification work carried out on a variety of U.S Army vehicles ,chosen to organise a program to remove 200 gas turbine engines from M1A1 battle tanks, on removal of the engine inspect order associated parts and service ground run the engine and identify any issues.

Worked with M88 recovery vehicles and M113 personnel carriers mainly light repairs and servicing .

Adhered to strict deadlines and on occasion working 7 days a week 14 hours a day.

British Army mid line manager responsible for 3 Challenger 2 Tanks costing in excess off £9 million and responsible for 12 person tank troop .Making sure all equipment and personnel where continually ready for deployment and health and well being was always monitored .

Tank Driving and Maintenance Instructor teaching setting up lessons in the classroom and field to teach recruits driving and servicing of a main battle Tank .

Physical Training Instructor running a military gym on large Barracks offering advice and teaching lessons to both serving military and there families .
