Management of patients affecting by Parkinson’s, essential tremor and dystonia. Pre-assessment of these patients and follow up following surgery. Stimulation programming and adjustments. Independently managing nurse led clinics.

Administration of disease modifying treatments (monoclonal antibodies) for MS in the infusion suite. Monitoring and daily blood test results interpretation in order to detect early complications of treatments, such as: kidney failure, thyroid dysfunctions (hyper and hypo), thrombocytopenia. Telephone and virtual (via emails) consultations to support patients' needs and concerns. Psychological counselling and symptoms management. Shadowing consultants and senior CNS in order to start Nurse led clinics. Education and Leadership skills toward junior staff.

Ward - Neurology PIU ( Planned Investigation Unit )

Neurology specialized infusion nurse :

-Cannulation and venepuncture trained.

-Administration of complexed immunomodulating therapies.

10 North Ward, Neurology

Neurology nurse :

- understanding and assessment of rare Neurologic conditions

- management and caring of primary’s needs related to Neuro deficit

- Care of Bedbound patients and seriously compromised patients

- able to take charge.

- NG trained.

- Tracheostomy trained.

Advanced management of the central venous lines including blood tests, dressings and attention of their patency.

Administration of pharmacological therapy including the parenteral nutrition.

Health care focused on children and their relatives.

- Cardiothoracic surgery, management of different drains, invasive analgesia’s devices and cardiac pacing and monitoring . - Drug administrations.
