This position was a six month contract which was part of a programme through the government to support high school graduates gain experience for future employment. During my time at Wakefield College I assisted the head of the Travel and Tourism department in the effective running of the college’s in-house travel agency, assisting with all administrative tasks such as answering calls and taking messages, filing and archiving, ensuring displays and offers were tidy and up to date and booking travel for internal and external partners, ranging from rail and air travel and accommodation.
