I have a full clean UK driving licence as well as being a competent operator with a counterbalance and reach forklift licence.
I have the ability to adapt and be flexible with job roles and takes that need completing depending on what is required at different times of the year.
• Working with heavy woodworking and metalworking machinery on a daily basis, finding the faults to every machine and fixing them to ensure machines are running safely and efficiently.
• The ability to wire up machines safely and correctly to assess before coming into the workshop.
• Working closely with my manger to maintain optimum levels of communication effectively and efficiently to complete the suitable work the machines would need.
• Offered friendly and efficient service to customers, and always complete work to their needs.
• Going to various sites around the country to empty factories and safely load machinery with HIAB and FLT’s on to wagons.

I worked at Daltons Wadkin for 4 years and became very competent in my job roll. I
was a trusted member of the team that could be relied upon to complete any tasks given to me by my workshop manager efficiently to the best of my ability. Here are some of the day to day tasks listed below:
Maintained accurate, detailed records of wood working repairs and maintenance for comprehensive
reference.
Operated varied hand and power tools for mounting and dismantling including drills to mount
isolators, emergency foot stops and DC brake units. I have also received a qualification from my
workplace on using hand grinders safely and efficiently.
Safely and responsibly handled electrical connections and disconnections during repairs, in line with
Daltons Wadkin health and safety regulations.
Performed routine and emergency maintenance on different types of wood working machinery
equipment with outstanding accuracy.
Maintained operability and safety of woodworking machinery and equipment by performing regular
inspections and preventative maintenance.
Cleaned, lubricated and calibrated machinery components to maintain peak operating performance.
After every task I ensured the machine and equipment I had been using was cleaned and returned to its
correct stowage.
Worked closely with my workshop manager to establish and deliver to our customer requirements .
Carried out day-day-day duties accurately and efficiently to ensure customers were satisfied with the
standard of our work.
