Initially, starting as sub-editor, I worked my way up within my universities student run conglomerate within from subeditor, and eventually onto head editor, of the Lifestyle website;

• Accepting pitches
• Encouraging writers
• Editing pieces
• Creating feature images and social media posts as well as marketing were all fully my responsibility.

As culture head of the student run magazine, Impulse, I had a variety of responsibilities such as;

• Accepting pitches
• Helping develop stories
• Approaching potential interviewees and guiding writers
• Creating the theme of that years magazine
• Attending meetings

During my time as an ambassador I represented the journalism course at Edinburgh Napier University. I took part as a representative during open days;

• Guiding prospective students throughout the university
• Answering questions regarding the curriculum as well as the industry itself and assisting lecturers.

After applying and succeeding as a student podcast host for the Beyond Borders International Festival, I volunteered and worked as a part of the social media youth team covering several parts;

• Interviewing attendees, most notably Martin Griffiths
• Promoting the festival
• Helping to film others social videos
• Covering attendees talks
