I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I am sincere and dedicated to my work and the children. I love working with children and being part of their journeys. Seeing them grow, learn, and develop is the best reward you can have. I give everything to the children; they get so much love, and I enjoy making unforgettable memories with them. I love seeing their characters shine, and it's a joy to be with children every day.
I want to be open and honest. I have a disability and have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. It has changed my life, but it has not changed me. I am the same person, with the same heart and passion for working with children. Some days are harder then others but asking for a little help is what makes a team special. We all bring something different to a team, and are all unique individuals. I would love the opportunity to come and meet your setting, so I can show you how much I can give to the children and your team. Children are so important in life, they are golden and I love being a small part of their journey. When I am doing something I love each day, it is not work, it is not a job to me it feels like an honor.
I spent five years at college and then joined Little Rascals Day Nursery, starting as a relief cover. I then got taken on full-time and have never looked back. I have spent over ten years in a room with toddlers ranging from 15 months to 30 months.
It's a dream to work with children; it is such a joy. I currently have eight key children and conduct observations, share 'wow' moments, and write reports. I plan next steps and engage in exciting activities to support both fun and learning. I build special relationships with the children and their families, and I enjoy being part of their journeys with them.
I support my room senior by working well as part of a team. I am also responsible for planning for the room. I examine what is working well and what is not. I plan to meet the children's interests and extend their learning. I communicate with my fellow team members, discuss their ideas and views, and schedule them for a day to participate in an activity. I am always there to help and support my team. I am also responsible for reviewing wow moment observations. I view tapestry each week and look over the observations. I check to see that all children are getting wow moment observations and feedback to the key people.
Little Rascals use the training website Noodle Now, which I love. I have completed numerous courses and found them to be a valuable resource for supporting my learning and gaining valuable information and knowledge.
