Myself and my partner have been running our own business comprising of a fully equipped Gym, Dojo and a Sunbed salon all in one building.
Initially we opened the business just as a Gym only with just one stand up sunbed as a little side line, this however took off very quickly resulting in us creating a little independent salon within the building with 2 lie downs and 2 stand ups.
I run the salon and paperwork side of the business, cashing up, ordering, keeping customer records up to date and a lot of the advertising.
Sadly as the cost of living has crown it has become impossible to keep the business going with all the building overheads
Working in Carpetright was a sales based job.
I started in Farmfoods under a YTS Scheme and worked my way up to manager very quickly in that time. I could have been area manager but at that time i didnt drive.
As this was my first experience of work i learnt a lot in my time there.
